The Smartkarma email-based communication system is designed to facilitate interactions between Insight Providers and clients with restrictions on Platform Messaging.
Insight Providers may receive emails from clients that utilize this feature in their Smartkarma-registered email inbox.
Here’s how the feature works:
Client companies that enable the feature will see an Email button next to the Insight Provider’s profile. Clicking this button redirects users to their default email client, with the Insight Provider's email automatically filled in.
Contacted Insight Providers will not see the underlying email address, but will instead see a masked email which can be linked back to the client and Smartkarma. This allows client compliance teams to monitor and audit communication channels via existing surveillance tools on their office email systems.
