The Smartkarma Insight Boomerang feature enables Insight Providers to resurface their previously published Insights back up Smartkarma users' dashboards.

Insight Providers can use this feature to float up their older Insights that they believe are still relevant to the present-day market. Resurfacing older Insights further extends their shelf-life and helps Insight Providers earn more QVA on valuable work they have done in the past.

Here's how you can Boomerang your Insights:

Step 1: Click on the Boomerang button at the top of your Insight, next to the Remove Paywall button.

This will open the Boomerang Insights wizard.

Step 2: In the text box provided, enter your reason for Boomeranging your Insight. Please be precise and articulate, clearly stating your reasons for why you believe the Insight merits resurfacing, and how it is relevant to current developments regarding the subject matter.

Step 3: Click on Submit.

Your Boomeranged Insight will be resurfaced in user’s feeds, with the date and stated reason appearing in the Insight longform. In addition, your followers will be notified about the Boomeranged Insight.

You can Boomerang up to 4 Insights per month, regardless of their prior publication date. You can see how many more Insights you can Boomerang in the month via the Boomerang wizard.
